Each child has an identified key worker who takes special responsibility for supporting their learning and development every day.We are proud to provide dedicated wellbeing spaces, including our sensory room and Zen Den, which help children feel calm, supported, and secure.

We also run a swap shop to offer families access to essentials when they need a little extra help.

She began at Kids Planet Westerhope as a nursery nurse before moving onto the Senior role and then Deputy Manager. Lisa loves being involved with childcare and being part of the first stages of a child’s life in helping them develop and grow, ensuring they receive the best care to allow them the best possible start in life.

We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Sensory Room and Zen Den

Our sensory room is designed to create a calm, soothing environment that supports children’s emotional development and overall wellbeing. With low lighting, gentle sounds, and sensory-rich resources, it provides a secure space where children can explore, relax, and feel safe. This room is particularly beneficial for children with additional needs, offering them a place to enjoy moments of solitude. The Zen Den provides a similar experience, with resources that encourage children to explore feelings and creativity through therapeutic activities, such as creating fairy gardens and engaging in intricate play.

Swap Shop

Our swap shop, located in the buggy store, is a supportive resource for our families. Stocked with a variety of children’s clothing, food items, and toiletries, it is available for families to access whenever they may need a little extra help. It’s a simple yet meaningful way to ensure our community feels cared for and supported.
