How you’ll make a difference as an Early Years Educator
- By offering exceptional care and education in accordance with the EYFS, supporting and meeting the unique needs of each child in your care.
- Through working supportively and collaboratively with your team to create a caring, playful environment for every child.
- By building warm, trusting relationships with families through kind, open communication.
What an Early Years Educator needs
- Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
- A strong understanding of EYFS.
- Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Kids Planet is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. We expect all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment, and safeguarding training is a fundamental part of every role. All colleagues are required to complete regular training to ensure they understand and fulfil their responsibilities. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties.

About Kids Planet Bridgehead
At Kids Planet Bridgehead, we provide high-quality early years education and care in a beautiful, green setting surrounded by trees and woodland. Located within a landscaped business park, our purpose-built nursery offers a welcoming environment where children can explore, learn and grow, with convenient access to the A63, A164 and Humber Bridge for commuting families.
We are proud to be Udeskole-accredited, embracing outdoor learning as an important part of children’s development. Through nature-based experiences, children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, develop curiosity and resilience, and build a connection with the natural world.
Our caring and highly qualified team supports every child to follow their interests, build confidence and learn through play. Children also benefit from sessions with our dedicated Sports Coach, who provides engaging activities to support physical development, teamwork and confidence at every stage.
We understand that starting nursery is an important milestone for the whole family. Our settling-in sessions help your child become familiar with their new surroundings, get to know our team and begin building relationships before their start date. They also give you the opportunity to share your child’s routines, discuss their individual needs and ask any questions.
