Kids Planet Bridgehead

Kids Planet Bridgehead is a recently acquired setting in the Kids Planet family, previously Tiptoes.

It is proudly one of the most environmentally friendly nurseries in the UK, located on the UK’s greenest business park, a low-density development where more than 40 per cent of the site benefits from landscaping, ensuring a pleasant, healthier environment.

It is purpose-built and has ideal access to the A63, A164 and the Humber Bridge as well as next to trees and woodland.Karis Sanderson is the nursery manager at Kids Planet Bridgehead. I started the company in November 2016 and became the manager in July 2019.

During my time as a practitioner, I have the most experience working with the toddlers, although I do have experience working with all ages.

I have my level 5 Foundation Degree in childhood studies.As a manager the most rewarding part of my job is been able to see the children learn and grown, knowing that we are making a difference to a child’s life and supporting their families.

The most important factor for me is working as a team with my staff and ensure we have good relationships in order to work effectively as a team.

Karis Sanderson

Manager

My name is Karis and I am the Manager at our Bridgehead site. I joined the company in November 2016 and progressed into the Manager role in July 2019. During my time as a practitioner, I gained extensive experience working with toddlers, while also supporting children across all age groups. I hold a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies.

As a Manager, the most rewarding part of my role is watching children learn and grow, knowing that we are making a positive difference to their lives and supporting their families. Building strong relationships and working collaboratively with my staff team is incredibly important to me, as I believe a positive team environment is key to providing the best care and education for our children.
