Kids Planet Morrill is a recently acquired setting in the Kids Planet family, previously Tiptoes.

Spaciously designed and purpose-built with landscaped gardens and secure outdoor play area, the dedicated team ensures your child has the best possible early years care and education.

It is conveniently located opposite the main Holderness Road health centre and great for anyone who commutes in from East Hull and villages like Sutton or Bilton. Pollyanna Hicks is the nursery manager at Kids Planet Morrill. I started the company in February 2016 and became the deputy January 2020, I then went into a manager position July 2021.

I have worked at our Willerby site and now at Morrill Street.

I have always worked in the 2-3’s and have a passion for working in that age group.

I have my level 5 degree.The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the dramatic changes within the children and their development from when they first joined the nursery to the present time.

I love working with the staff in the nursery to ensure that the transitions between rooms are smooth for the children and that they are provided with a safe environment to play, learn and develop new relationships.

With eight years of experience in Early Years, I’ve developed my career from supply work through to a management role. I’ve worked with children across all age ranges and take pride in building strong, supportive relationships with families. As a trained SENDCo, I’m able to offer guidance and support around additional needs whenever required. When I’m not at work, I’m a mum of three and love spending time as a family, whether that’s getting outdoors and exploring or settling in for a relaxed night at home. I’m also a proud pet owner to three dogs and two cats, which keeps life busy and fun.
