Childcare in Sutton

Kids Planet Sutton is a recently acquired setting in the Kids Planet family (previously Tiptoes), located on Leads Road on the corner of Midmere Avenue and ideally located for residents and commuters. The purpose-built, single level nursery has a very open feel and is designed with the children in mind, with all age groups having direct access to the outside space and covered area.

Kelly Johnson is the nursery manager at Kids Planet Sutton. 

I started my childcare journey in September 2009 and have been a manager since August 2018. During my time in childcare, I have worked with all ages, but I have the most experience working with pre-schoolers. The most rewarding part of my job and working in a nursery environment is seeing the children and staff learn and develop new skills daily. As a manager, the most important factor for me is communication between all parties in the nursery to ensure the best environment for the children to grow. I enjoy taking up new challenges and learning new things. I live in Hull with my dog Max. I enjoy reading, watching Netflix, and spending time with my family and friends. I have currently completed my Master’s diploma in childcare at Hull University where I previously did my foundation degree and bachelor’s degree.
