About Mapperley

Kids Planet Mapperley brings children close to nature through Forest School at Hollies Wood. Back at nursery, spacious rooms have a homely feel, with a large garden for imaginative play. Sensory experiences offer other ways to investigate, supported by a team that adapts activities for children with additional needs.

Settling-in visits give your child time to become familiar with us and let you get to know our nursery before starting. You can talk about their routines and ask our team how their day will work. Term-time places are available, with on-site parking to help with daily arrivals and collections.

    I have been working in the childcare sector for 20 years now. I started my journey as an apprentice and slowly worked my way up the ladder. I have been working at Mapperley for just over a year now after moving over from our Sherwood nursery. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and since becoming a leader, I've always strived to provide the best quality of childcare with my amazing team. We pride ourselves in providing all children with the best start on their own individual learning journey.
