About Altrincham

Our purpose-built town-centre nursery, Kids Planet Altrincham, welcomes babies through to preschoolers and has plenty of space to play and explore, with secure indoor and outdoor areas. Sensory experiences are part of the day, with support for children with additional needs so their care and learning reflect what works for them.

We want parents to feel involved in their child’s learning. Our Home Learning Hub and Lending Library offer ideas and stories to share together at home. Term-time places are available, and a private car park on Viaduct Road has 20 spaces to help make arrivals and collections easier.

    Katie-Marie Scanlon

    Manager

    I have many years of experience within the early years sector, from schools to nurseries, and hold a BA Honours degree in Early Years Leadership. Over the years, I’ve progressed through a variety of roles, which has given me a deep understanding of how to support children at every stage.
    My aim as Nursery Manager is simple, to ensure children are happy, well cared for, and given every opportunity to learn and grow. It’s incredibly rewarding to see children develop, build relationships, and reach their milestones with us.
    Community is very important to me, and I believe in creating an inclusive environment where families, children, and staff all feel connected and supported.
