Kids Planet Astley Bridge

The Astley Bridge nursery is set in a traditional cottage with picturesque outdoor space, providing a comforting home from home environment in the heart of Astley Bridge, Bolton. Our dedicated team gives their all every day, and as many are parents themselves, they understand first-hand the love and support needed for little ones.

Since she can remember, Bridie has always wanted to work in childcare and child development. Her early years journey started in 2014, and she has seen vast progression along the way. Committed and motivated by the joy of watching children thrive and develop in a safe and secure environment, Bridie has completed many early years qualifications including a BA honours Childhood Studies and Education 2:1 and Level 3 Btec children’s learning and development.

At Kids Planet, we believe in making life easier for families, which is why our nurseries offer an all-inclusive approach. Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our spacious garden is a true extension of the classroom, full of opportunities for active learning, exploration, and fun. With features like a wooden tunnel, stepping bridge, climbing wall and a giant tractor tyre, our outdoor space encourages little ones to challenge themselves physically, build confidence, and develop coordination. Whether they’re balancing, crawling, or simply letting their imaginations run wild, children thrive in this natural, engaging environment designed to spark curiosity and movement every day.

Our Swap Shop is a cosy corner dedicated to the magic of reading and sharing. Families are warmly encouraged to help themselves to a preloved book, or leave one behind for someone else to enjoy. It’s a lovely way to promote a love of reading, support sustainability, and build connections across our nursery community. Whether it’s a bedtime favourite or a new adventure, there’s always a story waiting to be discovered.
