Overview

About Audenshaw

Kids Planet Audenshaw welcomes children into a former church, transformed into a nursery in 2016. Generous outdoor space gives them room to explore, with our team helping children follow their interests and develop ideas through play. The building retains its character, with spaces designed for young children’s play and learning.

Settling-in sessions let you and your child get to know our nursery before starting, with time to meet our team and share their routines. We want those early visits to help everyone feel more familiar with nursery life. Term-time attendance and on-site parking are available, with pram storage, convenient for those busy drop off and pick ups.

Meet the Team

    Michelle Stafford

    Manager

I have worked at our Audenshaw setting since it opened in 2016. Prior to this, I was based at our Ashton setting, where I completed my Early Years Professional Status. I have two boys, both of whom have attended our settings since they were babies and now enjoy attending the holiday club. I am particularly passionate about outdoor learning, and our setting has recently completed the Udeskole approach. We are now continuing this journey by working towards the Inspire accreditation.

Adventures Beyond the Classroom

Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
