Overview

About Dukinfield

Kids Planet Dukinfield gives babies through to preschoolers plenty to explore, close to the local park and library in Tameside. Our secure outdoor areas include spaces for growing and discovering nature, with all-weather play spaces allowing children to enjoy being outside throughout the seasons. Community outings bring new places and experiences into their day.

We help your child get to know us before they start through settling-in sessions. These visits give our team time to learn about your child and help them feel more at home in nursery. Term-time places are available, with on-site parking and pram storage to make arrivals and collections a little easier.

    Samantha Best

    Manager

I have proudly been part of the company for 15 years, beginning my journey here as a student and progressing to my current role as a manager. This nursery has played a huge part in my professional journey, and I feel incredibly passionate about the work I do each day.

I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, positive environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to thrive. I also take great pride in supporting and inspiring our team, helping everyone to be the best they can be so that, together, we can provide the highest quality care and learning experiences for every child.

Adventures Beyond the Classroom

Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
