Kids Planet Basford is a well-established nursery in Stoke-on-Trent, set within a beautifully converted church hall that has supported families in the area for over 50 years. With three large, airy playrooms all on one level and a spacious garden, our setting offers a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

Our natural outdoor space includes a dedicated gardening area where children can join our gardening club, learning how to grow plants, care for the environment, and explore nature first-hand. We regularly visit nearby Basford Park for outdoor activities and mindfulness sessions, and thanks to local bus links, we’re able to take trips to museums, libraries, and other community spaces.

Conveniently located near the A500, major motorways, Royal Stoke University Hospital, and retail parks, we’re ideally placed for busy families. We’re proud of our long-standing, dedicated team and the strong partnerships we build with parents. Our calm and welcoming Parent Zone offers guidance on topics like toilet training and sleep routines, and includes helpful resources on our Udeskole approach, supporting families every step of the way.
