Kids Planet Darlington
Kids Planet Darlington is a bright, welcoming nursery set on Brinkburn Road, opposite the Brinkburn Pub and right next to the local church. Just a short walk from Cockerton shopping village, our nursery is easy to reach with parking onsite and a bus stop right outside. Inside, we offer five carefully designed rooms for babies through to preschoolers, each filled with high-quality resources that encourage learning through play. Outside, our large garden features a stage, sensory zone, and plenty of imaginative equipment – perfect for adventurous minds. We believe in creating joyful early experiences, supported by a caring, qualified team who are always happy to say hello.

ManagerWith 28 years of experience working with children and 18 years as the manager of this setting, I bring a deep passion and commitment to early years education. I am Level 3 qualified and also the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for every child in our nursery.
Every day in nursery life is different, and I truly love all aspects of my role—from welcoming new families to caring for their children and, in some cases, even their grandchildren. Supporting children through each stage of their development is a privilege, and I believe the most important part of their journey with us is that they have fun while learning.
