From a morning tea and coffee station with takeaway cups to a lending library and coat swap, we support families in practical ways every day.

We also provide a food bank to support those in need, helping to build a caring, connected community around our nursery.

Hello! my name is Holly, the Nursery Manager here at Kids Planet Duston.

Our nursery is a warm, welcoming space right in the heart of the community, where every child is nurtured, inspired, and encouraged to thrive. My dedicated team and I are passionate about creating exciting learning experiences—both inside and outside the classroom. We love working closely with local families and exploring the world around us together.

One of the things that makes us truly special? We have two nursery minibuses, which means we can take the children on amazing adventures beyond the local area—bringing learning to life in fun and memorable ways. We believe in giving children the chance to discover, explore, and grow every single day.

I have been working in childcare since 2008. I hold a level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I experience working with all ages and have gained extra knowledge through a variety of courses- iCan training DEEL training to support communicate and language, a behaviour management course so I can help children, parents and key workers with positive strategies to support children with their behaviour.

Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Shared Stories & Support

We believe learning and support should continue beyond the nursery gates. That’s why we offer a lending library where children can take home books to enjoy with their families and return them when they’re ready for a new story. Alongside this, our coat and clothes swap helps parents access pre-loved items in good condition, encouraging sustainability and supporting one another. It’s all part of our commitment to creating a strong, community-focused nursery where families can grow together.
