Overview
About Great Boughton
Our purpose-built nursery, Kids Planet Great Boughton, gives babies through to preschoolers space to enjoy play indoors and outside. Sensory experiences indoors encourage children to explore different textures and materials, with our team supporting children as they play and explore. Children explore nature in all weathers and discover the world around them on local outings.
Sports coaching helps children practise new physical skills and enjoy being active. For school-aged children, our Out of School and Holiday Club welcomes ages four to eleven. There’s a balance of planned activities and time to choose their own play, so older children can pursue what they enjoy during their time with us.

Cherisse Wilkinson
ManagerHello parents and carers! I’m Cherisse and I’m really excited to be joining Kids Planet as the new Manager.
A little about me; I’ve worked in childcare for 18 years, during that time I’ve been lucky enough to be part of several Outstanding Nurseries, as well as being fortunate enough to work with amazing practitioners along the way. Supporting children and families has always been at the heart of what I do, and I enjoy working closely with different agencies to make sure every child has the very best start.
I would say I’m very approachable, friendly and always happy to chat about your little ones! I can’t wait to get to know all of Kids Planets children and their families, and I feel very lucky to be part of such an important stage in their journey.
I’m looking forward to working together with you to make nursery a fun, safe and happy place for your little ones to grow and shine. So please feel free to introduce yourself, stop to say hi and let me know if there is anything at all I can help you with.

Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
