Kids Planet Langdale Road, is a warm and welcoming nursery where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Formerly Play Away Nursery, our setting has proudly supported local families for over 20 years, providing high-quality early years education and care for children from babies through to preschool age. We are passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and independence.

Our experienced and caring team works closely with families to ensure every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Through a balance of play, discovery, and meaningful learning opportunities, children develop important social, emotional, and physical skills while building strong foundations for the future.

I joined the nursery in September 2011 as a student while completing my Level 3 qualification and have been part of the team ever since. During this time, I have progressed through a variety of roles, including Early Years Educator, Room Leader, and now Nursery Manager.

I am passionate about early childhood development and dedicated to ensuring every child feels safe, secure, and valued. I strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow in confidence, develop key skills, and reach their full potential.

I was fortunate to have my daughter attend the nursery from the baby room through to Preschool, which gave me a unique perspective as both a parent and a practitioner. I am incredibly proud to manage and be part of such a fantastic nursery and team, serving families at the heart of our local community.
