Hi, my name is Catherine Spencer and I am the Nursery manager at Hartburn. I have worked in childcare since leaving school at the age of 16, I completed my B-tech National Diploma in Early Years, I went on to work in a couple of settings and even tried my hand at Nannying. After returning from Nannying, I got a role as Deputy Manager which I did for 9 years and due to changes in the company I was promoted to Manager, I have been nursery manager for 11 years now all for the same company. I also have my Level 5 in Early Years Sector endorsed Foundation degree.

I have many years of experience, and I am a Mam to 2 gorgeous children aged 16 and 11 years of age, one girl and one boy. I am passionate about SEND and making sure that all children are included and able to access all of the curriculum. My role as manager is to teach and support my staff in all areas of early Years, My role is also to inspire, teach and care for families and children to help them flourish and build strong bonds with the team.
