Kids Planet Heddon-on-the-Wall is a small, close-knit nursery with a strong family feel, allowing us to focus closely on the needs of both children and parents. From the moment you walk through the door, you’ll find a warm, home-from-home environment where your child feels safe, secure, and valued.

Set in a beautiful rural village location, our nursery is surrounded by countryside, with regular trips to local parks and visits to nearby places of interest such as the local vets, village shows, and even Hadrian’s Wall. These real-world experiences help children feel connected to their community and bring learning to life beyond the nursery walls.

Our open-plan spaces give children freedom to explore, discover, and follow their interests, supported by passionate early years educators who create exciting learning opportunities every day. We’re also proud to offer weekly yoga sessions with a dedicated teacher during term time, supporting children’s physical wellbeing, confidence, and mindfulness from an early age.

Hi, My name is Jade I am the senior manager at Heddon on the Wall, Longbenton and Gateshead Nursery. I have worked in childcare for over 20 years. My aim for all of my nurseries is to ensure the children are always in a warm and nurturing environment and are given insightful and enriching learning opportunities.
