About Hixon
Kids Planet Hixon offers a homely nursery in a quiet countryside setting, with a lovely large garden where children can play in all weathers. Community visits give them new places to discover, with our team helping children build on their questions and experiences back at nursery.
Sensory activities encourage hands-on exploration, with time for children to explore at their own pace. Our team adapts care and activities for children with additional needs, recognising that the same approach won’t suit everyone. We make those adjustments within everyday nursery life, helping each child get involved and enjoy their time with us.

Kirsty Grigg-Spencer
ManagerI have worked for the same nursery group for ten years, starting my journey as an apprentice and working my way up to Room Leader, then Deputy Manager, and now Nursery Manager. During this time, I also attended university, where I gained my degree in Early Childhood Studies.
