About Hollingarth
Kids Planet Hollingarth has welcomed children from birth to five since 1991, with a management team bringing more than 35 years of combined early years experience. Our indoor and outdoor spaces offer opportunities for play, including sensory discovery. Our team adapts support for children with additional needs as part of the nursery day.
Settling-in visits give children a gradual introduction and allow families time to get to know us. You can share routines and ask questions before regular attendance starts. We’re on the main route into town, with term-time attendance and buggy storage available to help families organise care and daily journeys.

Nicola Lauderdale
ManagerI first joined Hollingarth Nursery in 1998, beginning my career as an apprentice in the baby room. Over the past 27+ years, I have been fortunate to grow and develop within the nursery, progressing to Room Leader and eventually stepping into my current role in management. This journey has given me a deep understanding of every stage of a child’s early years, form the tiniest babies to confident preschoolers ready for their next adventure.
As the nursery’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), I take my responsibility for children’s safety and wellbeing very seriously. I hold Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), I am fully trained in paediatric first aid and have completed a wide range of additional professional development to keep my skills and knowledge up to date. Safeguarding, quality care, and high standards of early education are always at the heart of my work.
What I love the most about my role is building strong, trusting relationships with families and seeing children flourish during their time with us. It is such a privilege to watch them grow and developing their confidence, independence and curiosity and know that we have played a part in giving them the very best start in life. I’m incredibly proud of our team here at Hollingarth and the nurturing, supportive environment we provide for every child who comes through our doors.
