Overview
About Horsham
Kids Planet Horsham gives children two spacious gardens for imaginative play and active exploration. Our nursery on Pondtail Road is a short distance from the town centre, with an experienced management team supporting our staff to plan learning around each child’s interests. Indoor play offers more ways to explore their ideas.
Everyday nursery life gives children opportunities to express themselves and try doing things independently. Our team notices when a child is ready for a new challenge and when they need more time or help. We offer encouragement without rushing, keeping experiences suited to each child’s development as they learn through play.

Charlotte Wilcox
ManagerHi, I’m Charlotte, the Nursery Manager here at Kids Planet Horsham. I’ve been working in childcare since 2014 and joined the nursery in July 2020 as a Room Leader. Since then, I’ve progressed through several roles including Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, and now Manager.
I’ve always been passionate about working with children and feel incredibly lucky to be part of their early learning journey. Watching them grow, develop, and discover the world around them is the most rewarding part of what we do.
Originally part of the Perfect Start group, our nursery became part of Kids Planet in March 2025. Throughout these changes, we’ve continued to maintain our high standards of care and education, and I’m proud to lead a dedicated team that puts children’s well-being at the heart of everything we do.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
