Kids Planet Leigh is a bright and friendly large nursery where children are encouraged to play, explore, and follow their natural curiosity. Located on Wigan Road, our recently refurbished, homely setting gives little ones a warm, familiar place to grow in confidence each day, with excellent transport links that make drop-off and pick-up easier for busy families.

Our practitioners tune in to what genuinely interests each child, planning playful, hands-on experiences that spark their imagination. This includes everything from following a snail’s trail in the garden to trying out new creative ideas indoors. Mealtimes are calm and sociable, with balanced options and gentle encouragement for children to serve themselves and build confidence at their own pace.

As part of our Academy-led group, our team receive ongoing training and support, helping us offer thoughtful, high-quality care rooted in the latest early years approaches. We also focus on independence, communication, and social skills so children feel ready and excited for their move to primary school.

We proudly offer 15 and 30 free hours for eligible families.

We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
