Kids Planet Mere House

Kids Planet Mere House is a recently acquired setting in the Kids Planet family, previously Mere House Day Nursery. The welcoming nursery comes with a team of dedicated educators who pride themselves on providing unique and exciting learning experiences indoors, outdoors, and within the whole community, with each child’s individual needs as the top priority.

I have worked at Mere House since we opened in April 2016. I started off as the room leader of the baby room and worked my way up to deputy manager and then got the manager's position in December 2022. I enjoy my time here at Mere house and watching it grow from strength to strength over the years. In my spare time I enjoy camping and my favourite place to visit is the Lake District, with my husband. We also have a little sausage dog called Peanut who comes along with us.

At Kids Planet, we believe in making life easier for families, which is why our nurseries offer an all-inclusive approach. Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the ParentZone app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
