About Patterdale Lodge
At Kids Planet Patterdale Lodge, our team uses each child’s interests and needs to guide their learning. Sensory experiences offer hands-on discovery and wonder, with play indoors and outside complemented by local community visits. We adapt activities for children who need additional support, helping them take part in ways that suit them.
Formerly Patterdale Lodge Day Nursery, our nursery offers settling-in sessions so your child can become familiar with us at their own pace. These visits give you time to meet the adults who will care for them and talk about their routines. Term-time attendance is also available for families who need it.

Nicola Roberts
ManagerI have been the Nursery Manager at Patterdale Lodge since 2022, having previously worked as Deputy Manager at our sister nursery, Canal House, and as a Room Leader at Linden House. I have over 15 years’ experience in childcare, a career I have always been passionate about and felt proud to pursue.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and am the Designated Safeguarding Lead, a role I am extremely passionate about to ensure all of our children feel safe, secure and supported. I have focused on developing my leadership skills through ongoing training to best support staff, children and families. I am incredibly proud to manage such a fantastic nursery and team.
