About Longley
At Kids Planet Longley, your child’s questions and interests help shape our nursery day. We care for babies through to preschoolers in a converted church on Lowerhouses Lane in Huddersfield, formerly Little Angels Nursery. Daily outdoor play complements experiences indoors, with activities suited to each child’s development.
We listen to your child’s ideas and help them explore through play, with support when something is new. Familiar routines give them chances to do more for themselves as they grow. As school approaches, our team builds on those everyday skills, giving your child time to practise while following the interests that make learning enjoyable for them.

Grace McLean
ManagerI am the nursery manager here at Kids Planet Longley, my childcare journey began 7 years ago when I first started as an apprentice, working up to management. I am passionate about creating a caring, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, happy and confident to be themselves. I believe children learn best when they feel valued, supported and encouraged and I strive to ensure each child receives the care and attention they deserve. I also understand how important it is for parents to feel reassured and confident when leaving their children in our care. Building strong, trusting relationships with families is something I value and I aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment for both children and parents.
