About Us

Kids Planet Penwortham

Kids Planet Penwortham, formally (Marylands Private Nursery School) originally opened in 1979 and acquired by Kids Planet in 2025, is a warm and welcoming nursery with strong roots in the local community.

Situated next to the A582 Golden Way and only a short drive from the M6 and M65, the nursery is ideally placed for families travelling into Preston and is close to more than ten primary schools in the area.

Children enjoy a rich variety of experiences both inside and outdoors, supported by a caring and experienced team.

Regular walks to local shops, cafés, libraries, and parks, along with exciting trips by bus to the train station and the Harris Museum, help children make sense of the world around them and develop essential skills.

At Kids Planet Penwortham, children thrive in a nurturing, active, and engaging environment where curiosity and confidence are encouraged every day.
