Kids Planet Preston East

Kids Planet Preston East, formerly Cliff House Nursery School, is a welcoming nursery in Ribbleton, Preston, set within a spacious property surrounded by a quarter acre of enclosed gardens. Our nursery has a long-standing commitment to providing high-quality early years education and care in a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy, secure, and valued.

Outdoor learning is an important part of everyday life at Preston East. Our generous garden gives children plenty of space to explore, play, discover nature, and enjoy fresh air throughout the year. From growing and harvesting vegetables to exploring the natural environment, outdoor experiences encourage curiosity, confidence, independence, and a love of the world around them.

Inside, children benefit from carefully considered learning environments and a wide range of resources and activities designed to support every stage of their development. Through play, children are encouraged to be creative, build friendships, try new experiences, and express themselves with confidence.

Our caring and experienced team works closely with families to understand each child’s individual needs and interests, creating a warm home-from-home environment where every child can flourish.

I have been part of Kids Planet Preston East, formerly Cliff House Nursery, since 2003. I hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification and am the nursery's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

I am passionate about supporting children and their families and helping to create a happy, safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Outside of work, I am married and a busy football mum to two boys. In my spare time, I enjoy walking and spending time with my family.

I am proud to be part of the team at Kids Planet Preston East and to have supported so many children and families throughout my years at the nursery.

We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
