About Us
Kids Planet Rope Green Farm
Welcome to Kids Planet Rope Green Farm, a place where childhood is celebrated in the fresh air and wide-open spaces of our beautiful farm setting.
We believe children thrive when they can explore, discover, and learn in the great outdoors – and our large, purpose-built outdoor play area is at the heart of everything we do.From climbing and digging to planting and caring for animals, our outdoor environment offers endless opportunities for adventure and discovery.
Every corner of our space is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support every stage of your child’s development – physically, socially, and emotionally.Being set on a farm means our children enjoy experiences most nurseries simply can’t offer feeding animals, watching our vegetable patch grow, and learning about nature first-hand.
These moments nurture a lifelong love of the natural world and encourage responsibility, empathy, and wonder. We’re proud to be part of a strong, supportive community.
Our close links with the local church and high school mean our children benefit from shared events, visits, and projects that foster connection and belonging.
Families tell us they feel part of something special here — a place where everyone knows your name and your child is truly valued. At Rope Green Farm, childhood isn’t rushed.
It’s savoured.
It’s muddy knees, laughter in the wind, and friendships that last well beyond the nursery gates.Come and see for yourself why our children – and their parents – love it here.

ManagerI have 23 years’ experience working within Early Years settings. I have worked at Rope Green Farm since 2010, starting my journey in the Toddler room.
I began to manage the setting in 2016 alongside Barbara. We both share the same passion: ensuring all children are at the heart of everything we do. I am the setting’s Designated Safeguarding Lead, responsible for providing a safe environment for the children in our care alongside the setting’s Safeguarding Team, and for ensuring that staff are aware of the Safeguarding Policies and Procedures that we adhere to.
Whilst working at Rope Green, I gained Early Years Professional Status/Early Years Teaching Qualification in 2012 and hold a BA Honours in Early Years.

ManagerI have over 15 years’ experience in Early Years, working in a variety of roles from Team Leader at Rope Green Farm Day Nursery to teaching in a local primary school. My journey has given me a deep understanding of how children grow, learn, and thrive at every stage.
I have a strong passion for creating an inclusive environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. As the Nursery SENDCO, I work closely with our wonderful team to ensure that each child’s individual needs are recognised and met, helping them to feel safe, valued, and confident in their learning journey.
I am dedicated to building positive relationships with children, families, and staff, and I am proud to lead a nursery alongside Amy, where children are at the heart of everything we do.
I gained my Early Years Professional Status/Early Years Teaching Qualification in 2012, and I have recently completed my National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership and Management in 2024. I also have a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery. Prior to working in Early Years, I worked as a nurse and midwife within the NHS.
