Kids Planet Salford

Located on the corner of Eccles Old Road and Langworthy Road, Kids Planet Salford is a purpose-built nursery in a prime spot, just minutes from MediaCityUK and with easy access to Manchester city centre. Our nursery offers large, open-plan rooms filled with natural light and thoughtfully designed to support each stage of development. Every age group enjoys direct access to secure outdoor play areas, while our Pre-School children benefit from a beautifully refurbished rooftop terrace, designed to encourage nature-based exploration in the heart of the city.

We’re proud to have a fully refurbished sensory room attached to our Baby Room, providing a soothing space for sensory exploration and extra support for children with additional needs. Our experienced team is passionate about communication and language development and has specialist expertise in supporting children who speak English as an additional language or have SEND needs.

In our Pre-School room, a qualified teacher leads the team, helping children build confidence, independence, and school readiness, whether they’re moving on to Reception or continuing their learning journey with us. We also believe in the importance of learning beyond the nursery, with regular outings and trips arranged by our team and supported by our regional driver.

Kim Brophy

Manager

Kim Brophy holds a BA (Hons) in Education and Inclusion and has achieved Early Years Teacher Status. She joined Kids Planet in 2014 and has since progressed through various roles, from Room Leader to her current position as Nursery Manager. Kim has been managing the Salford nursery since January 2021, bringing a wealth of experience, dedication, and passion for early years education to the role.
