Kids Planet Stretford is a purpose-built, multi-cultural nursery that celebrates and promotes diversity, creating a truly inclusive and welcoming environment for all families.

We are proud to be a home-from-home setting, with a dedicated and caring team who provide fun, stimulating activities designed to support every stage of children’s learning and development. Our nursery has a wonderful garden area where children spend time in all weathers, with under 3’s benefitting from their own dedicated outdoor space to encourage free flow and independence.

The fruit and vegetables that children plant and grow are used by our chef as part of our healthy eating programme, helping little ones learn about food and where it comes from. To support learning beyond the nursery, we also provide home learning opportunities across all rooms, linked to our nursery intents, and offer a lending library in reception where children can borrow books to share with their families.

Daily toothbrushing is also part of our routine, encouraging good oral hygiene habits from an early age. At Kids Planet Stretford, our focus is on working in strong partnership with parents, supporting children to grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our Sensory Room

Our sensory room is a calming and engaging environment, designed to support children’s emotional wellbeing and development. With soft lighting, soothing sounds, and a variety of tactile resources, it provides a safe space for exploration, relaxation, and discovery. The room is particularly valuable for supporting children with additional needs, offering opportunities to regulate emotions, build confidence, and develop communication through multi-sensory play.

Learning Beyond the Nursery

At Kids Planet Stretford, we love to encourage children’s curiosity and a lifelong love of reading. Our lending library in reception allows children to borrow books to take home and share with their families, helping to extend learning beyond the nursery walls. The library includes a wide range of age-appropriate books, from picture books to early readers, and offers opportunities for parents and children to enjoy storytime together. This supports literacy development and strengthens family bonds through shared reading experiences.
