From tending the allotment to playing in our secure outdoor areas, children at Kids Planet Trafford City have many ways to get involved outdoors. Opposite the Trafford Centre, our purpose-built nursery welcomes babies through to preschoolers. Sensory play offers more to discover inside, and our sports coach supports play through movement.
Community connections take your child’s learning beyond nursery, with our team taking children on visits in the local area. We offer settling-in sessions so your child can become familiar with our team and setting before regular attendance begins. Term-time places and on-site parking are available, helping you plan nursery around family life.

Hands-on learning in our allotment
Our children love tending to the nursery allotment, where they grow fruit and vegetables throughout the year. This not only teaches them about nature and healthy eating, but also builds responsibility and pride as they get to take produce home. We also use our harvest in cooking activities at nursery and share with local food banks and shelters, showing the importance of kindness and giving back.
