Overview

About Urmston

Kids Planet Urmston has cared for local families since 1992, welcoming babies through to preschoolers and is a short walk from the town centre. Our large outdoor area gives children room to explore, and a sports coach provides activities for every age group, helping even our youngest children enjoy play through movement.

Inside, the sensory room offers a place for calmer experiences. Nearby parks and the library bring opportunities to discover more of the local area, with our team helping children nurture their curiosity. We offer term-time places, and on-site parking makes arrivals and collections more convenient for families travelling by car.

Meet the Team

    Emma Casey

    Manager

I have worked in early years for many years starting as a student to becoming a Nursery Manager.
My aim as nursery manager is to create a happy and stimulating nursery to give each child the best start, and to build close bonds with children and their families. Watching the children start with us as a young baby and leaving us to start reception is incredibly rewarding watching them thrive and grow.

Adventures Beyond the Classroom

Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
