Day Nursery in Sherwood
Private Road, Sherwood, Nottingham NG5 4DB
Overview
About Sherwood
Kids Planet Sherwood welcomes children into a building with around 300 years of history and a large garden to explore. Our team supports play indoors and outside, following the things that interest each child. Children have time to explore their ideas, with adults there to help them discover more.
Homecooked meals are served each day, and the Famly App helps you follow what your child has been enjoying. We use everyday activities to encourage growing independence, giving children time to have a go before offering help. Our team supports the skills they’re developing through familiar routines, so these small steps become part of nursery life.

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
