Kids Planet Shrewsbury

Kids Planet Shrewsbury is a spacious, purpose designed nursery located in the former Chiquito restaurant on Battlefield Road, providing exceptional childcare for babies through to preschoolers. Following a full fit-out, the 120-place setting boasts a dedicated sensory room, large natural outdoor play areas, and thoughtfully designed indoor environments that inspire learning and discovery.

The nursery offers a stimulating, child-centred environment where little ones are encouraged to explore, create, and make independent choices. With free-flow access between indoor and outdoor areas, children benefit from varied learning opportunities. Developing confidence, curiosity, and resilience through play, including age-appropriate risky play experiences that support all areas of their development.

I am the nursery manager of Kids Planet Shrewsbury. I have previously been the nursery manager at Kids Planet Mablins Lane (Crewe) and prior to that a room leader in the out of school club at Kids Planet Haslington. I hold a BA(Hons) Primary Education without QTS along with Paediatric first aid, food hygiene, Level 3 Safeguarding and Designated Safeguarding Lead training and a Level 3 ILM.
I have worked with children professionally since 2012 working in the Nursery and Out of School Clubs. I really enjoy the variety my job brings on a daily basis and how I have watched the children transform through their childhood.

At Kids Planet, we believe in making life easier for families, which is why our nurseries offer an all-inclusive approach. Our fees cover everything your child needs for a happy, comfortable day, including nappies, wipes, formula milk, and sun cream, so you have one less thing to worry about. We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.
