Overview
About Southfield
At Kids Planet Southfield, we want children and families to feel listened to and included. Our nursery has a family feel, with a team that keeps its early years knowledge up to date through comprehensive training.
Our team adapts support for children with additional needs, considering how each child participates and what helps them enjoy nursery. We work with parents to understand their child, using those relationships to guide care and learning.
Outdoor learning and local visits give children practical experiences to explore, alongside sensory play indoors. Children have time to develop their own ideas, with encouragement as they discover something new.

Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
