Kids Planet Monkseaton is a fun, vibrant and secure place for learning and development with excellent transport links which can also provide fun trips to the beach.

Each child/parent is allocated a ‘key-carer’, a trusted member of longstanding management, who is responsible for meeting their child’s changing needs, and delivering the best care for their child.Kids Planet supports funding for families, offering funded childcare places as well as so much more – including nursery fees that cover nutritious meals, nappies, baby formula, and baby wipes.

I have worked at Monkseaton since 2003 and have over 30 years’ experience in early years, having begun my career in 1992 after completing my NNEB Diploma. I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Years & Professional Studies and am the setting’s Designated Safeguarding Lead, with a strong commitment to protecting and promoting children’s welfare. I strive to create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment supported by a dedicated and experienced team.
