Day Nursery in Spondon

Overview
About Spondon
Kids Planet Spondon is a small nursery with a homely feel and a long-serving team. Children enjoy outdoor learning in all weathers, alongside play indoors shaped around their development. We adapt experiences for children with additional needs so they can take part in ways that suit them.
Close links with local schools help us support your child’s next steps, with preschool sharing a school site. This helps children become familiar with a school environment before their next stage. Settling-in sessions offer a gradual start to nursery and time to get to know us. You can choose term-time attendance if it suits your family.

ManagerI have worked in childcare for 16 years, from an apprentice to Nursey manager. I have been a manager for just over a year with Kids Planet, my favourite thing about childcare is offering new opportunities to the children watching them learn and grow within our setting. I have a little girl and in my spare time I love spending quality time with my family.
Adventures Beyond the Classroom
Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play
At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.
