Creating calm, focus, and confidence

Explore, Discover, Thrive

Our sensory room is a peaceful, purpose-built space designed to support sensory development and emotional wellbeing, especially for babies and children with additional needs. Featuring gentle lighting, soft textures, and calming sounds, it offers a safe and soothing environment for exploration and regulation. The space encourages focus, relaxation, and early communication through multi-sensory play, and is used for quiet time, individual support, or simply a change of pace, making it an important part of our inclusive approach.

Supporting families and our wider community

A Warm Welcome and Helping Hands

We believe in creating a welcoming environment for both children and parents. Our parent refreshment station offers a place to grab a drink or snack, providing a small moment of ease during busy mornings and encouraging friendly conversations with staff and other parents. Alongside this, our community basket supports local food banks by collecting donations, while also teaching children the importance of kindness, generosity, and helping others in need.

Encouraging sustainability and a love of stories

Sharing, Reading, and Growing Together

At Springhead, we embrace community spirit and sustainability. Our Little Wardrobe Wonders scheme invites parents to donate unwanted uniform items in good condition, making them available for other families and helping to reduce textile waste. We also run a lending library, giving children and families access to a wide range of books to enjoy at home. This not only supports language and cognitive development, but also helps build a strong connection between nursery life and learning at home.
