About Us

Kids Planet Stretton

Kids Planet Stretton is a well-established nursery, set in a beautiful Victorian building and supporting families since 1997. We offer high-quality early years education and care for children from babies through to pre-school, with secure outdoor areas and thoughtfully designed indoor spaces.

Our youngest children benefit from their very own Baby Garden, a calm, age-appropriate outdoor space where under-twos can safely explore, play, and enjoy fresh air every day. This dedicated area allows babies to build early confidence and physical skills in a safe, nurturing environment.

We’re proud to be both Udeskole and Inspire accredited, embedding nature-based learning, curiosity, and a love of discovery into our daily practice. With a dedicated, experienced team, we provide a nurturing environment where every child is supported to explore, grow, and thrive at their own pace. At Stretton, we value our strong links with families and the wider community, making our nursery a welcoming and inclusive space for all.

Supporting families

Community Shed

At Kids Planet Stretton, we’re proud to support our local community beyond the nursery gates. Our on-site Community Shed is open 24 hours a day and offers free access to donated clothes and essentials, available to anyone who might need them. With generous donations from families and friends, it’s become a valuable local resource, especially for baby and toddler items. If you’d like to contribute, we’re always grateful for any clothing or essentials you can spare.

Bringing Learning to Life with Outdoor Play

Adventures Beyond the Classroom

At Kids Planet, we believe the great outdoors is one of the best learning environments. Our unique nature-based learning encourages children to explore, take on new challenges, and develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor experiences. Whether it’s discovering wildlife, growing vegetables, or engaging in active play, we provide endless opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive in the natural world.

Healthy habits from the start

Refresh & Rehydrate

Good hydration supports healthy bodies and minds, which is why we’ve introduced a fruit water station for children and families. With refreshing, naturally infused water available daily, children are encouraged to stay hydrated while developing healthy habits early on. It’s a small but important part of our wider focus on wellbeing, supporting physical development and setting the foundations for lifelong self-care.
