Kids Planet Warrington

Kids Planet Warrington is based in a beautifully converted 19th-century chapel within Warrington town centre. The nursery caters for babies through to preschool and benefits from frequent trips into the town, library, museum or to the park.

At Kids Planet, we have put together our very own Forest School inspired outdoor learning approach called ‘Udeskole’ that many of our nurseries are training towards and Kids Planet Warrington has already completed!

Udeskole is a Scandinavian concept that translates to “outdoor school” and is an educational approach to outdoor learning. Udeskole focuses on nature-based learning experiences and encourages children to spend more time outdoors studying local wildlife and plants, directly engaging with nature and their environment and helping them to develop their sense of self.

We offer 5% NHS discount and 10% discount to workers based directly in Warrington Town Centre.

I started my journey here at Kids Planet Warrington in December 2019 when I became the Pre-School teacher, before becoming Nursery Manager in June 2024. In that time, I have been lucky enough to complete my Level 3 Forest School Leader training and have helped the setting to achieve their Udeskole accreditation. I am a big advocate for outdoor learning and believe the benefits are fantastic for the children and their holistic wellbeing.

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in English Language with QTS and previously worked in a primary school for ten years.
