Kids Planet Waverton House

Kids Planet Waverton House nursery contains a large nursery space and is conveniently located within the South Liverpool area, with easy access to major motorway and road networks, and just a short car, bus, or taxi journey from Liverpool City Centre or local train stations. There is a private car park, giving easy and safe access for parents during drop-off and collection times.

At Kids Planet Waverton House, we are particularly passionate about outdoor learning and exploration, spending a vast amount of time outdoors in all weathers, from our baby room through to preschool. We have several large outdoor areas, including our garden, forest environment, and purpose-built tipi and tipi garden, encouraging free-flow access to the outdoors for all ages. Our outdoor lead practitioners support children’s learning with fire pits, real-life tools, and nature-based activities, following our Udeskole curriculum.

We also place a strong emphasis on the importance of daily sports sessions, led by our sports coaches and practitioners, encouraging children to enjoy exercise outdoors while recognising its benefits for both physical and mental health.

I have worked at Kids Planet Waverton House since 2016 after completing a degree in Early Years, followed by completing a Masters degree in Education and inclusion. Working within several of our rooms while completing studies allowed me to gain experience needed and develop relationships with families. The best part of being in a managers role is being able to have an oversight of all the rooms in nursery and building bonds with all children and families and watching developmental milestones.
