Kids Planet Winnington is a brand-new, purpose-built nursery located in the heart of Winnington village.

Open from 7 am to 7 pm, we offer high-quality early years education and care for babies through to preschoolers, with large, open-plan rooms and secure outdoor play areas for every age group.Our setting features a sensory room, a library area, a cosy emotion station, and a range of engaging resources designed to support learning through play.

As part of our commitment to supporting families, we offer coat swap rails, home learning kits to borrow, and daily updates on our chalkboard meal planner.

We’re proud to be a nursery where care, communication, and curiosity all come together to create a warm, inclusive environment for every child.

I am originally from Essex which is where I completed my CACHE Level 3. I then attended Manchester Metropolitan University at the Cheshire campus where I achieved my BA(hons) degree in Education and Early Childhood studies. I have worked at Winnington since we opened and I am looking forward to welcoming all the new families and continuing to support the children on their journey.

We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks, catering to all dietary needs to keep little ones fuelled for a day of learning and play. With sports activities to support physical development and the Famly app for real-time updates, we ensure every child gets the best start in a safe, nurturing environment.

Sensory & Emotional Spaces

Our purpose-built sensory room offers soft play equipment, tactile toys, and gentle lighting to support sensory development and emotional regulation. It’s a welcoming space where children can unwind, explore, and build confidence through calm, open-ended play. Alongside this, our Emotion Station is designed to help little ones recognise and express their feelings. Featuring books about emotions, mirrors, and emotion stones, it’s a nurturing area where children can pause, reflect, and develop essential self-awareness and communication skills.

We believe the best nurseries grow with their families. When you told us you’d like to know what meals are planned each day, our kitchen team made it happen. Now, a chalkboard in reception shows the day’s menu, helping you plan your evening meals with ease. We’ve also added a lemon and cucumber water station, along with a fresh fruit bowl, so you can grab a healthy refreshment during drop-off or pick-up. It’s all part of making your daily routine that little bit smoother.
