We are excited to announce Kids Planet’s first step into Wales, with the acquisition of Springfield Day Nurseries and Dragon Camps holiday club. Springfield is a well established group of five nursery settings, serving the local and surrounding communities of Abergele, Colwyn Bay, Conwy and Llandudno.

“It was a very difficult decision to sell the business after nearly 20 years but having reached that decision we considered our options very carefully. We decided that Kids Planet shared both our ethos and approach to delivering the very best in childcare. Having met with them and worked with them through the process, our view has been reinforced. Kids Planet have a family centred approach focusing on the detail of child welfare and development at the heart of their thinking which was very much our approach. We wish Kids Planet every success as they take Springfield Day Nurseries forward in their first foray into Wales.”
Kids Planet Day Nurseries has grown to 179 settings across the UK through a combination of acquisition and greenfield developments. Our focus continues to be acquiring existing nursery settings that fit with our values for the highest quality education and seeking development opportunities to build our geographical presence.
