Wallasey

7 August 2018

Family-owned group Kids Planet Day Nurseries continues its expansion in the North West by acquiring Harrison Day Nursery in Wallasey.

Harrison Day Nursery has now become part of Kids Planet Day Nurseries bringing the total number of settings held by the Lymm based group to 30.

The Wallasey nursery recently awarded Outstanding by Ofsted is a well-established, 89 place setting in the heart of Wallasey Village.

Clare Roberts, CEO of Kids Planet, said, “We’re delighted to acquire this fabulous nursery, and we look forward to continuing to provide outstanding child care”.

Facilities at the Wallasey nursery include an IT suite, sensory room, sizeable climbing frame and a soft surfaced garden with outdoor learning classroom.  The group has plans to develop the Forest School on a piece of land adjoining the Church garden.

Founded by Chief Executive Clare Roberts and her father John Hoban, who is chairman, Kids Planet Day Nurseries opened their first nurseries in Warrington and Widnes in 2008.  The group has a strong record of excellence and consistently high ratings from Ofsted and is responsible for the care and education of over 3,000 children across the North West UK.

The group will also be opening settings in Great Sankey and Hoylake later in the year.
