Kids Planet Have Landed In Congleton

We’re pleased to announce that Kids Planet Day Nurseries have landed in Congleton. In August 2017, Kids Planet acquired Hilltop Day Nursery, located on Chapel Street and is an 80 place nursery. The nursery provides excellent facilities with large and spacious rooms with a secure outdoor area providing children with the fresh air and outdoor fun. Located in the Congleton area and close to the town centre with close proximity to local parks and libraries.

In July 2017 Kids Planet also acquired Happy Day Nursery, now known as Kids Planet Davennport, in Stockport. The nursery, which has been established for over 40 years, provides excellent facilities with large and spacious rooms and secure outdoor area including mud kitchen providing children with the fresh air and outdoor fun. Located in the Stockport area, the nursery is close to local parks and libraries and is a 60 place setting.

This takes Kids Planet Day Nurseries to 20 settings and now offers over 1,800 nursery places across the North West. A further 2 nurseries will be opening this year in Billinge and Swinton taking the Group’s to 22 nursery settings. Kids Planet Day Nurseries Ltd was founded in 2008 by chief executive Clare Roberts and her father John Hoban, who is chairman. John’s other daughter Lucy Kaczmarska, joined the Group in 2013 as Director of Early Years.

After first acquiring the first two nurseries in Warrington and Widnes, Kids Planet have quickly grown to become one of largest groups in the region with nurseries located in Beamont (Warrington), Crewe, Congleton, Crosby, Dukinfield, Fazakerley, Hale, Higher Broughton, Lymm, Mossley Hill, Prestwich, Sale, Salford, Salford Quays, Springhead, Southport, Stockport, Urmston, Warrington and Widnes. Kids Planet currently have 15 Ofsted Outstanding nurseries with 5 currently awaiting inspection.
