Prestwich And Davenport Nurseries Awarded Millie’s Mark

We’re delighted to announce that both our Prestwich and Davenport nurseries have received Millie’s Mark award this month; a quality standard aimed at keeping children safe and minimising risks and accidents.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines currently state that just one person with a current paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premises and available at all times when children are present or on outings.
However, Millie’s Mark is awarded as a special endorsement to childcare providers that go above and beyond these minimum requirements by having 100 per cent of staff trained in paediatric first aid.
The award is a fantastic achievement and reflects the hard work and dedication of every staff member across both nurseries.  Well done everyone!
