About Kidderminster
At Kids Planet Kidderminster, support for individual needs is built into our nursery life. Our on-site SENDCo works with children who need additional support, with visual supports in every room and calm breakout spaces. Children also have areas for exploring feelings and communication, alongside play indoors and outside.
We care for children from six weeks to five years in a nursery established in 1982, a short walk from the town centre. Our team helps children find ways to participate that work for them, using their understanding of each child to guide care. Good local transport links make our nursery accessible for families.

Emma Bryan
ManagerI have 12 years experience working within the childcare industry. I have been at this nursery for 5 years. Started as the preschool leader, progressing to third in charge and now nursery manager.
I am also currently the nursery SENDCO, I have 3 years experience with this and hold a Level 3 SEND qualification. I am also Level 3 qualified as an early years educator. I have experience with my own family run nurseries in the past so I have a great instinct for creating that family feel.
Understanding Big Feelings
Dedicated spaces for emotional growth
Our toddler and preschool rooms feature specially designed areas that help children explore emotions and understand how they affect themselves and others. Using visual prompts, storybooks, and guided discussion, little ones learn to recognise feelings and build healthy ways of managing them. These nurturing spaces help children develop empathy, resilience, and self-confidence from an early age.
