Kids Planet Longbenton is a large but homely, purpose-built nursery conveniently located for Quorum, Four Lane Ends Interchange, the Ministry and Freeman Hospital. We offer flexible childcare options including morning and/or afternoon sessions, part-time and full-time places.

The nursery features specially designed rooms for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, each with direct access to a large, stimulating outdoor area that is used daily in all weather conditions with appropriate clothing.

Our fully qualified and passionate team of early years practitioners, including early years professionals and degree-qualified staff, are committed to providing the highest standards of care, with children’s safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. We aim to settle every child smoothly into nursery life by offering free introductory visits prior to their start.

My name is Kate and I am the Manager at Kids Planet Longbenton. I have worked in childcare for over 20 years achieving my foundation degree in Early Childhood studies.

My childcare journey started as an apprentice at age 16 and over the years I have gained lots of experience, working my way up and eventually, I was promoted to manager in October 2023.

I love being involved with all aspects of nursery life seeing how happy and content the children are and how seeing them grow and learn in our caring and nurturing environment.

We look forward to hearing from you and showing you what our nursery offers.
