Kids Planet Woodside
Our nursery offers exceptional facilities designed to inspire a love of fun, excitement, and joy.
We provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities to enrich each child’s learning and development, including baking, yoga, dance sessions, Udeskole-inspired outdoor learning, gardening, and baby massage.We are proud to have two large outdoor areas where we follow the Udeskole approach, enhancing children’s physical and emotional development through nature-based learning.
These activities encourage risk-taking, cooking, problem-solving, fire safety, den building, and more, supporting the growth of confident, resilient, and curious learners.We make the most of our local community by taking part in a variety of trips and events.
From litter picking and gardening club to library visits, arts and crafts, and random acts of kindness, these experiences help children develop a strong sense of belonging, responsibility, and care for the world around them.The nursery also has a dedicated sensory room, offering a stimulating environment for exploration and physical development.
This space is especially valuable during times when outdoor play is not possible, such as in very hot weather, providing children with opportunities to continue learning and discovering in a calm, engaging setting.

ManagerWith 13 years of experience in early years education, I hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare and have been a proud member of the Kids Planet Woodside team since 2016. During my time at the setting, I have gained extensive experience working across all rooms, developing a strong understanding of children’s needs at every stage of their development.
Throughout my career, I have progressed through a range of roles, including Room Leader and Deputy Manager, and I now proudly take on the role of Acting Nursery Manager. This journey has allowed me to build both practical and leadership skills, supporting high-quality practice across the nursery.
I am passionate about creating a warm, engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. I am committed to supporting each child’s learning and development, ensuring they receive high-quality care and the best possible start in life. I also take great pride in supporting and developing my team, sharing knowledge, and encouraging professional growth to maintain high standards of care.
At Kids Planet Woodside, I work closely with children, families, and the wider community to build positive relationships and foster a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all.
