About Us
Kids Planet Ashbourne House
Kids Planet Meithrinfa Dyddiol Ashbourne House, located on Woodlands Road East, offers convenient drop-off and collection with both driveway access and nearby street parking.
Our warm and welcoming nursery is spread across three floors, with dedicated Baby and Toddler rooms and a Sensory Room on the ground floor, a Nursery room on the first floor, and a vibrant Preschool room on the top floor.
Each space is thoughtfully designed to support children’s development at every stage.
Children enjoy daily access to our large artificial grass garden, as well as regular trips to the library, local parks and the nearby beach to encourage exploration and connection with the world around them.
Our purpose-built kitchen is run by a qualified team who freshly prepare nutritious meals for children across our nursery settings, ensuring safe, healthy and delicious food every day.
Twice a month, our babies and toddlers enjoy our much-loved buggy walks along the Colwyn Bay promenade. These gentle outings provide fresh air, sensory experiences and early connections with the local community.
The changing coastal environment offers rich learning opportunities that spark curiosity and support children’s wellbeing.
We are proud to be undertaking our Udeskole accreditation, strengthening our commitment to outdoor learning as a core part of children’s development.
The Udeskole approach encourages children to learn beyond the nursery walls through meaningful experiences in natural and community environments, helping build resilience, independence and problem-solving skills.
Our proximity to the coast enhances children’s learning through opportunities to explore natural materials, observe local wildlife and experience marine environments in engaging, age-appropriate ways.
Through beach visits, promenade walks and seasonal coastal activities, children develop curiosity, creativity and a lifelong respect for nature.
