About Us
Kids Planet Conwy
Kids Planet Meithrinfa Dyddiol Conwy is a welcoming, purpose-built nursery in a scenic setting on the North Wales coast, offering high-quality care and early years education for children from babies through to pre-school.
Our dedicated team creates a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child is supported to grow, play, and thrive. We’re proud to be deeply connected to our local community, regularly taking part in meaningful initiatives such as food bank donations, visits to care homes, and supporting local hospital wards, helping children learn about kindness, compassion, and giving back. Children also enjoy regular adventures in the surrounding area, from trips to the beach to splashing in puddles and exploring nearby parks.
These experiences foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of the natural world. We also offer a Holiday Club in partnership with Dragon Camp, providing a fun and exciting environment during school breaks.
Emma Jones
ManagerHello, My name is Emma and I am the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet Conwy. I have a strong passion for early years education, and I have been dedicated to my role within the company since 2008. I first started off as a nursery nurse then continued to further my career into Room Leader / Management. As a mother of one, I bring both personal and professional experience to my work in childcare, which I truly enjoy. Over the years, I have developed a wealth of knowledge and practical skills in supporting children’s development and wellbeing. I am currently furthering my expertise by studying Level 4 & 5 Leadership and Management, which is helping me continue to grow and lead effectively in my role. I feel privileged to be part of the Kids Planet journey and part of each child’s life experiences.
Danielle Healey
ManagerHi, my name is Danielle. I am Deputy Manager here in Kids Planet Conwy. I started working with children in 2013 and have many years of experience in childcare. I worked for the company prior to Kids Planet and bring a strong understanding of early years education. I am a mother of two and I am very passionate about my role and love helping children thrive, supporting their development and watching their individual journeys as they grow and learn. I have recently completed training to become an Outdoor Lead. Being the Outdoor lead is a really important part of my job role, as it allows me to create engaging, active experiences that support both learning and wellbeing for both children and staff members. I truly love what I do and feel privileged to be part of each child’s early years journey and the Kids Planet Family.
